ABOUT DISTRICT COURT
The District & Sessions Court of Imphal West located at Cheirap Court Complex, came into existence vide Government Notification No. 2/ 62/2012-Leg/L dated 16th May, 2015 by renaming what was erstwhile known as the District & Sessions Court, Manipur West. With its establishment at the top of the judicial hierarchy at the district level, it exercises its jurisdiction over the territorial areas of Imphal West and Chandel.
